The Role
The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with stakeholders and business leaders to meet business and finance objectives.

Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all direct tax and indirect tax returns, including income tax, TDS, GST, and other related filings.
• Prepare advance tax working, final tax computations, returns, and reports
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assess their impact on the company, and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.

Tax Planning and Strategy:
• Well versed with Special Economic Zone (SEZ), tax holidays and its treatment.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position while minimizing risks.
• Identify opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies, including deductions, credits, and incentives.
• Work closely with the finance and legal teams to structure transactions and contracts in a tax-efficient manner.

Transfer Pricing:
• Manage transfer pricing compliance, documentation, and reporting requirements.
• Oversee the review and evaluation of the benchmarking study report.
• Ensure that transfer pricing policies are consistent with global standards and local regulations.

Audit, assessment and Litigation:
• Coordinate and manage tax audits, assessments, and disputes with tax authorities.
• Represent the company during tax assessments and litigation, working with external tax advisors and legal counsel when necessary.

Tax Accounting and Reporting:
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate tax accounting in financial statements (under IND AS/IFRS).
• Prepare and review tax provisions and deferred tax calculations.

Advisory and Training:
• Provide tax-related advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on various business transactions and initiatives. For example - employee movement to other countries on deputation, expat, secondment etc.
• Conduct training sessions for finance and operational teams to enhance tax awareness and compliance.

Qualifications
• Chartered Accountant upto 2-3 years of work experience; Prior experience of Big 4 is an added advantage.
• Management experience preferred but not essential.
• Must be comfortable communicating directly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong Tax knowledge (Direct and Indirect) and interpretational skills and time-management skills
• Strong business acumen and judgment and demonstrated ability to work closely and build sustainable business partnerships.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented to handle in-depth, special projects.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks ensuring that tasks are completed appropriately, and deadlines are met.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
