Key Accountabilities:

1) Quality within a project

  • Analyse quality related stakeholder requirements
  • Ensure that applicable stakeholder quality related requirements are met throughout a project
  • Develop and maintain quality audit strategy for a project
  • Plan and perform all defined quality audit activities for a project
  • Report project quality audit status on a regular basis
  • Report non-conformances to all affected parties
  • Escalate non-conformances to appropriate levels of management
  • Perform or participate in quality audits and assessments internally and/or at suppliers
  • Coach the development team in applying processes and standards

2) Project Quality processes

  • Maintain project quality audit processes throughout the organization processes:
    • Ensure compliance of project quality audit processes to applicable state of the art quality standards (e.g. Automotive SPICE, IATF 16949, ISO 26262,…) and stakeholder requirements
    • Monitor changes in internal processes and ensure appropriate modification of project quality audit processes
    • Provide tailoring guidelines for these processes
  • Monitor critical non-conformities outcome from overall processes (quality system audits, field returns, assessments…) and ensure appropriate modification of project quality audit processes

Profile:

1) Key Professional Competencies

  • Knowledge in IATF 16949
  • For system software & electronics project development, knowledge in:
    • Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262
    • Functional Safety
    • Systems software & electronics engineering
  • Knowledge of foundation products and systems & product liability
  • Pedagogical Approach
  • Ability to manage Audit & Assessment
  • Problem solving tools
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

2) Key Personal Competencies

  • Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Implementation & Result Orientation

3) Qualification & Experience

  • Master’s degree in engineering on Mechanical or Electronic or Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in automotive industry: quality / engineering (Software, Mechanical, electronic development)
