Our local product group Insulation & Components is the technology leader in design and manufacture of high voltage transformer bushings. All renowned international companies of the electrical industry,active in power generation, transmission and distribution are among our customers. We have a top position in the high voltage bushing areas worldwide.

Your responsibilities

• As a deputy of head of testing, manage the operational activities like resources management. As part of the operations department, you need to be able to understand and fully support our daily business.

• Electrical and Thermal Type testing so as Special tests of High Voltage bushings. Decide to plan in house or externally, considering the constraints given by the available resources and budget. Reporting of test results.

• In house FAT’s with the customers and perform routine, type and/or special tests, when required.

• Ensure full functionality of the laboratories together with the team members and ensure safety of the equipment and team members via training and instructions and maintenance plans. Secure the required quality of bushing and traceability through process instructions.

• Project management of mid to small projects

• Question and reflect all procedures and instructions as part of continuous improvement processes (CIP)

Your background

• Successful studies in electrical engineering or equivalent, Bachelor or Master of Science. Experience in the field of high voltage, testing or electrical machine and experience in Production environment is a plus

• Understanding of the ISO 9001 and ISO 17025

• Business fluent German and good English - both spoken and written

• Team spirit, high social competence, and enjoyment of working in a multicultural environment

• Proactive towards problem solving

• Organized character with ability to prioritize
