About the business:

The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2300 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Your responsibilities

  • Detailed evaluation of customer specifications of all HV products.

  • Prepare Timely and comprehensive Pre-Bid documentation & presentations.

  • High level coordination with Hitachi Global HV product factories to collect the spares & services offers.

  • Preparation of Techno-commercial offer as per customer requirement.

  • Preparation of Sales & order report

  • Maintaining & Updating the Tender & Order Handling data base.

  • Tools and processes development.

  • Establish and Maintain relationship with Business Units & Divisions, Front End Sales.

  • Analyse customer needs and competitor offers through general market info and information provided by FES.

  • Provide market intelligence data, Monitor offers and pursue offers.

  • Coordinate with Tendering Manager for product sourcing and costing strategies.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree or in engineering.

  • Must have 4 to 8 years of experience.

  • In depth knowledge on Sales & tendering commercial part.

  • Proficient in MS-Office.

  • Proficient in Sales & Tendering of HV products and handling tools.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of Power Grid Market & HItachi High Voltage Products (All the HV products).

  • High customer orientation.
