You as a Country Tax Manager will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Sydney, Australia. Typically, responsible for establishing operational plans for job area., developing and implementing new products, processes, standards, or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.; and requires communication with leadership.

Your responsibilities:

• You will work on a specialized area of tax focusing on high level of complex tax issues, monitoring, interpreting, and advising on international or cross-border taxation law.

• You will provide advice on tax implications of operating across multiple borders e.g., withholding taxes, foreign taxes, local taxes on foreign income, and regional tax issues.

• You will ensure compliance with international transfer pricing rules and prepare international pricing documentation.

• You will ensure compliance with country-specific reporting and regulatory requirements.

• You will calculate international tax profits, earnings, and credits for controlled foreign businesses.

Your background:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field is required.

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in relevant industry is preferred.

• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
