Description:

The client is a product international company that provides a defence platform that enables development and security teams to protect critical workloads against emerging threats and undiscovered vulnerabilities with a lightweight agent that protects the organisation's public, private and hybrid cloud deployments on-premises data centres managed. In addition, it is an advanced endpoint detection and response platform, which gathers as much information as possible to detect and analyse complex threats while being as non-intrusive as possible, minimising the impact on the network and the endpoint.

Requirements:

The role engulfs both App and Infrastructure deployment tasks and methodologies in the Cloud and on K8s, which requires deep understanding of Networking protocols and concepts such as Ingress Controllers, REST, SSLTLS, Routing, HTTP ReqRes and APIs.

In addition, you must have:
* At least 4 years of experience in Linux & Networking
* At least 4 years of experience in automating application deployment, packaging, and other aspects of release lifecycle. Including hands-on development of Jenkins Jobs using Groovy, BASH and Python.
* At least 2 years of experience in developing/supporting Kubernetes services in Cloud native environments.
* At least 2 years of experience in Containerized CICD processes and orchestration (Docker, Helm, etc....).
* Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities, both technically and personally in a development team.

Advantage:
* Knowledge in Kong API or similar API GW solutions.
* Experience with Istio and Istio Ingress GW.
* Experience with JavaSpring application concepts and code.

Job Responsibilities:

The Endpoint Protection Platform DevOps team is focused on fast & secure enablement and delivery for the greater RnD Group and their associated projects.
The EPP Group is in charge of our client's design, development and operation of our NextGen Control & Data Plane.

Solution utilizes higher-level Ingress (such as Istio) and next-gen API Gateways (e.g Kong) as its underlying infrastructure.
These technologies enable much of the features and abilities of the EPP microservices as well as additional metrics, analytics and monitoring tools.
In this position you will work with R&D from the initial design and development cycles of the Multi Tenant stack of services, and all the way to full onboarding and migration processes of the tenants themselves in Production
