Procurement Specialist

Purchase materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

Your responsibilities:

• You will identify new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualifies new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists.

• You will negotiate agreements with main suppliers, periodically renews pricelists, terms conditions, adapt corporate contractual framework to the local business needs, recommend frame agreements to management, and executes upon approval.

• You will Analyze and evaluate bids in order to determine the optimal value, support bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information and track goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing.

• You will oversee supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time), resolve performance issues and initiate purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the Purchase Requisitions, in alignment with standard procedures, confirm delivery with suppliers, monitor and track supplier performance to purchase order requirements.

• You will align supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP/ SAP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price and conduct all Supply Chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures.

• You will ensure SAP ARIBA global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in SAP ARIBA procedure.

Your background:

• Tertiary education in relevant field, preferably engineering.  

• Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role.

• Experiences of supplier negotiation and procurement activities. Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies.

• Experience in SAP Application.

• Broad knowledge of supply chain management and import/export business.

• Basic knowledge of electrical substation products.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing and resource planning systems.

• Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, communications skills in English both written and spoken.
