Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Bid & Proposal Manager, your task will be to craft our bid strategy for large and complex pursuits. You will be managing a diverse team of technical and commercial competencies, ensuring that Hitachi Energy´s offering is professionally conveyed to client.

Your base will be in Ludvika, and you will be part of the HVDC product group within Hitachi Energy. HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be leading a Bid & Proposal team of technical, legal, tax, insurance, and commercial experts from early pursuit stage to contract signing and execution handover.
  • Digesting and translating client requirements and needs into a competitive overall solution based on the Hitachi Energy portfolio.
  • You should be enticed by working with complex tenders from both a technical and commercial aspect and thrive in a high performing international environment.

Your background:

  • Experience of large-scale system sales and tendering or project management of mega projects
  • Technical and commercial experience from HVDC systems or similar is an advantage as you will be working close to the HVDC Technology.
  • Good leadership skills and a structured approach is required to be leading the tendering team through challenges.
  • Communicative and outgoing, especially since the position entails interaction with a wide variety of stakeholders, both internal and external across all organizational levels.
