Seize this senior strategic role with Hitachi Energy as Digital Governance and Synergies Leader. You will bring a wealth of experience from industry. Combining both leadership and consulting expertise with a history of building credible relationships with senior stake holders and liaising with technical and non-technical people. Your role will be to inspire and drive high level transformational initiatives and manage the end-to-end product life cycle, shaping the road map for the future with tangible, measurable outcomes. Executing results through a joined up, collaborative, approach to achieve the ultimate end goal. Therefore, you will be both a pragmatic thinker and strategist and an exceptional leader of people. Proficient in overseeing processes from the bigger picture perspective.

The Role

  • Strategic Planning: Developing and executing strategic plans that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Problem Solving: Identifying complex business problems, breaking them down into manageable parts, and developing effective solutions.
  • Market Research: Conducting thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Visionary Thinking: The ability to envision the future and set ambitious yet achievable goals.
  • Holistic View: Seeing the big picture and understanding how various components of the organization interact.
  • Strategic Frameworks: Strategy Models: Familiarity with popular strategy frameworks like SWOT analysis, Porter's Five Forces, Balanced Scorecard, Ansoff’s Matrix and PESTEL analysis.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Risk Identification: Identifying potential risks and uncertainties that may affect the strategy's success. Developing strategies to minimize and manage risks.
  • Execution Planning: Action Plans: Breaking down the strategy into actionable steps and assigning responsibilities. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Defining metrics to measure progress and success.
  • Monitoring and Adaptation: Performance Monitoring: Continuously tracking and assessing progress against KPIs. Adaptation: Being open to adjustments and changes in the strategy as needed.

 

Your background

  • 8+ years’ consulting experience OR held a leadership role in industry, combined with 6+ years consulting experience.
  • A demonstrated history of building credibility and relationships with senior stakeholders, technical and non-technical people to align on strategy, inspire, and execute on a day-to-day basis.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle or high-level transformational initiatives, shaping the vision and roadmap, delivering strong outcomes, and managing stakeholder interactions.
  • Solid business acumen and problem solving
  • Able to think strategically/end-to-end. 
  • An outstanding academic track record; a bachelor’s degree and/or Advanced graduate degree; or equivalent work experience
