As a Software Field Application Engineer, you will be responsible for customer support. The Field Application Engineer will interface with customers on a day-to-day basis to assist customer with Hitachi’s product. You will be main interface for customer from the program kick off to launch and post-production support. You will be responsible mainly for software release and troubleshooting customer issues in either bench environment or in customer vehicles.

Additionally, the ability to work independently with minimal direction is required as are strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with PCs and application software, such as MS Office tools is also required.
Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years applicable experience in automotive domain.
Job level determined by various factors such as organization size, responsibility, career stage, and capabilities.
