Your responsibilities:

  • You will join the global R&D efforts for power converter development, including firmware/control development, product/system testing, and verification.
  • You will be responsible for awareness of state-of-the-art technology, able to challenge the status quo in technical issues, projects, and/or processes, and make a contribution to product development.
  • You will be supporting R&D project execution according to internal R&D process and model, making sure project delivery is on time and budget according to priorities.
  • You will closely cooperate/communicate with local and global resources and partners on solution design and R&D project execution.

​Your background:

  • Master's degree majored in power electronics, electrical engineering or automation, a good understanding of power electronics devices and systems, familiar with power systems.
  • 3+ working experience, R&D responsibility in products, e.g. Energy storage Inverter, APF, STACOM control, is preferred. Experience with grid-forming converters would be an extra asset.
  • Hand-on experience with power electronic devices design, testing, and verification, and good knowledge of HW/SW structure and design.
  • Experience with grid code for energy storage systems (or DER) would be an extra asset.
  • Self-motivated, high curiosity, and ability to learn about new technologies.
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in computation and simulation tools, e.g., Matlab, Simulink, and Digsilent.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & and written English language is required.
