Electrical Internal Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibility:

• The success candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in Medium Distribution and Large Distribution Transformers.

• Responsible to Design Core and active part, windings, cleats and leads, as per Design guidelines of factory.

• Participation in Transformer internal design concept reviews.

• Coordinating with External/Tank design team for further activities and with inter departments specially SCM, Production and Quality.

• Participation in internal design concept reviews.

Qualification, Knowledge, and Experience:

• B.E/B.Tech Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineer.

• 2 to 7 years of Work Experiences in Designing of Oil filled Distribution Transformers, or Power Transformers. Candidates with higher experience can also to be considered.

• Should have good understanding of IS/ IEC /IEEE Standards.

• Should have experience in winding design, Core clamp Structures.

• Basic understanding of cleats and lead arrangement, clearances /creepage is required.

• Knowledge on CAD software, 3D Modeling software like Creo is must.

• Experience on Microsoft office and tools is an advantage.

Skills:

•              Good communication skills in English Language oral and written form.

•              Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.

•              Demonstrated team building and networking skills, would be a preference.

•              Good verbal and written English are Must.

•              Organized and thorough.

•             A team player, open with information and willingly contributes to team discussions with an ability to work without supervision when required.

•              Additional languages knowledge is considered an advantage.

•              Quick learner with ability to master new areas.
