Tender/Quotation Specialist

Description

Mission:

Support the Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied systems and technology and also preparing the commercial offer, determining costs, preparing final documentation, and serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area. Assure fully comply with process and quality in tender preparation, focus on customer needs and requirements as well the internal requirements in tender & project management process, approvals workflow and risk analysis by support through shared resources insider the organization (Grid & Power Quality Solutions) focus on main markets such as utilities, industrial solutions, power generation, renewables, railways & e-mobility.

• Solution provider as per customer expectations
• Offer preparation in line with the standards and requirements
• Risk evaluation and mitigation strategy
• Competitive analysis and strategy leadership
• Exposure to high level management presenting the project risks and strategy

Background:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of experience in tender/bidding/sales position
• Fluent in English both written and spoken (plus Spanish as mother tongue)
• Experience in High Voltage Substations (Power Quality Solutions / FACTS solution like STATCOM, SVC, Synchronous Condensers, etc. will be a plus), preferred in an international environment.
• Process orientated, disciplined, structured, and high committed to the results.
• Proactive in establishing effective relationships and engaging with various team members.
• Oriented to a leadership role since will lead multi discipline team to interface with all internal company areas and external partners.
• Ability to travel 10-15%.
• Flexible to work from home with part of the days in a month at office (San Luis de Potosi or Mexico city, depending or the demand).
