Electrical Project Engineer (protection systems) internship

Description

For our Business Unit Grid Automation based in Santa Palomba (Roma) we are looking for a Substation Protection Engineer acting as a junior team member for project engineering tasks in high voltage substation automation solutions, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

Your responsibilities:

 1. Evaluate, select and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments;

2. Ensure quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost. Improve effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with other functions;

3. Ensure that engineering activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements;

4. Live core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business.

Your background:

• Bachelor in electrical engineering or technical diploma (electrotechnical);

• Good knowledge of both Italian and English (B2/C1);

• Team working and problem solving skills;

• Knowledge of electrical transmission and distribution grids;

• Knowledge of basic concept about electrical machines (alternator, transformer, motor...);

• Knowledge of industrial automation and electrical field ( PLC);
