Your responsibilities
Acquire knowledge, survey and summarize state-of-the-art literature on steady-state operation of power grids
Model and analyze steady-state operation of grids with traditional and emerging technologies
Design and implement new approaches for power flow analysis using state-of-the-art techniques, and benchmark them against modern open-source tools
Disseminate knowledge including presentation and interpretation of results
Self-driven execution of challenging tasks under a stimulating supervision
Your background
Currently pursuing a MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field – official enrollment is essential
Background in one of the following topics: (1) steady-state analysis and modeling of power grids (e.g., power flow, optimal power flow, state estimation) and/or (2) numerical methods and mathematical optimization
Profound knowledge of and experience in Matlab and/or Python; familiarity with C/C++ is an advantage
Experience that demonstrates your team-oriented working style.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
