To strengthen our Power Consulting division, we are looking for a Technical Consultant (f/m/d) with relevant expertise in the integration of decentralized generation plants and their impact on the dynamic behavior of power grids and grid stability in connection with converter-fed grid elements.

Your tasks

• Generating customer contacts and working with customers at an operational level, actively driving forward and developing consulting solutions 

• Solution-oriented customer consulting with regard to the new requirements for energy supply grids with a high proportion of renewable energies in terms of grid stability and grid modernization 

• Negotiating contracts, preparing offers and carrying out studies including cost estimation, resource planning and risk management as part of project management  

• Modeling, simulation and evaluation of stationary, quasi-stationary and dynamic processes  

• Preparing technical reports and conducting customer meetings  

 
Your background 

• Successfully completed studies, e.g. in the field of electrical engineering with a focus on energy technology 

• Experience in grid calculation tools such as NEPLAN, PowerFactory, PSS Sincal, PSS/E, PSCAD 

• Sound knowledge of grid connection guidelines and grid connection processes as well as developments and transformations in supply grids with a focus on the resulting system requirements, studies and consulting services 

• Fluent in written and spoken German and English 

• Strong communication and presentation skills for project meetings, reports, publications and participation in conferences 

• Strong teamwork skills and interest in working in an international environment
