Our offer spans from advanced monitoring, digital solutions, expert consulting, repairs, life extension, spare parts to service contracts for current Hitachi Energy Transformers and legacy brands. The main Transformers Service Markets is France and Switzerland but we, as Global Service Organization, serve customers from all over the world as One Team. 

You will lead the Transformer Service organization in France and Switzerland, located in any of these two countries (Lyon or Geneva), with frequent traveling between both. Reporting to the Hub Europe Transformer Service Manager, you will implement the Global Service strategy and drive Service growth in those markets, achieving targets and optimizing the utilization of service resources.

Your responsibilities:

  • Keep outstanding performance of local team in terms of continuous HSE improvement and Integrity compliance, reinforce local Culture in this direction

  • Full P&L accountability - Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly business results in terms of achieving target Profitability and Order received

  • Achieve remarkable 2-digit Business Growth over the next years in France and Switzerland. Detect and expand Transformer Service business in white spots, penetrate new segments (example: Industry, Data Centers)

  • Further penetration in current Customer installed fleet, significant expansion of Customer base (new Customers)

  • Expand transformer Service portfolio (Transformer Intelligence, Advanced Maintenance, Parts, Life Extension, etc.), exploit and further develop synergies between the two Service Teams (France and Switzerland)

  • Building sustainable Customer relationships to ensure Growth, satisfaction, and retention, jointly with Sales Team, use customer feedback to drive consistent development of processes and practices.

  • Professional management of day-to-day business to ensure profitable Growth and improve Service productivity.

  • Secure outstanding Quality at execution, drive to differentiate in the Market by this factor

  • Secure training & competence development of own Team as key tool for people growth and Market differentiation

  • Drive Service Strategy implementation in France and Switzerland, leveraging on mutual synergies, in collaboration with Hub, Global Service Org. and Country Team

  • Proactively manage and support local Team, promote, retain, attract Talents

  • Keep and improve local capabilities and skills, leverage on mutual support between the two Teams

  • KPI's: HSE recordable incidents, Order intake, Sustainable Orders and Revenue Growth, Operational EBITA %, cash flow, margin slippage

Your challenges:

  •  Business Growth. Cultural shift, from reactive to proactive mind-set, especially at Service Sales. Successful navigation in relatively complex Regional and Global organization.

  • Business capabilities, fast business development in France and Switzerland, including whole geographical coverage, including both, the French-speaking as well as the German-Speaking area

Your background:

  • A Master´s degree in Engineering

  • More than 5 years of experience in managerial positions, working as first line manager. Good command of Finance.

  • French and English are required. German will be positively considered.

  • General Management skills, with specific focus on HSE and Integrity.

  • Strong pioneering & fighting spirit, self-driven for business development & Growth.

  • Strong Leadership, Ambition and Personal drive for Business Growth

  • Strong Customer orientation, ease to create and develop personal relationships (internally and externally). Networking skills.

  • Knowledge and experience on servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing transformers or others industrial/technical products will be considered.
