This is a key role in the Talent and Learning Team reporting to the Global Leader - Diversity 360, Culture and Belonging, for India and Global Projects for Hitachi Energy. The person will be hosted in India and would have dual focus:
In the role, this person will support & coordinate implementation of all DEI programs and initiatives at Hitachi Energy, India to meet the organization's DEI objectives. It would involve working across the DEI focus areas of Hitachi Energy India making us a Place to Be. In the role, this person will conceptualize, advance and deploy global projects under the supervision of the Global Leader - Diversity 360, Culture and Belonging for India and Global Projects for Hitachi Energy.
Your Responsibilities:
You’ll work closely with the firm’s leaders, HR groups and other internal stakeholders to support DEI strategic priorities and manage projects with teams across the firm with a focus on achieving measurable and sustainable results:
Support & coordinate implementation of all DEI programs and initiatives at Hitachi Energy, India:
Design, deploy and conduct impact analysis of DEI strategic interventions driving systemic changes embedding equity at the core in alignment to Diversity360 vision by supporting multiple projects across our focus areas that includes Gender, Persons with Disability, LGBTQ+ Inclusion, Veterans, Ethnicity / Nationality, Generation and Culture of Belonging.
Work with Talent Acquisition team to strengthen our strategy to attract diverse talent, and closely partner with HRBPs to boost our retention strategy.
Nurture and build strategic partnerships, champion and launch ERGs, and ensure compliance with regulations on DEI for shareholder updates, annual reports submission in partnership with critical stakeholders in Hitachi Energy, India
Conceptualize, advance and deploy global projects that falls under the umbrella of Global Diversity 360, Culture and Belonging:
End to end project management of Global Diversity 360, Culture and Belonging strategy COE.
Maintain Diversity360 scorecard, do trend analysis, and create dashboard for progress mapping and governance at a set frequency.
Engage in external benchmarking, research and bring on outside in perspective.
Your Background:
The candidate should have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree or equivalent preferably in community outreach programs, diversity/disability/gender studies or the likes, with ten to twelve years of comparable experience, with atleast six to eight years in leading DEI projects.
The candidate should have a deep understanding and expertise of DEI and knowledge of global trends.
The ideal candidate should be attentive to detail and have excellent analytical skills.
The candidate should have experience in managing processes and tracking initiatives across functions.
The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and should be able to work effectively with colleagues of varying seniorities and both within and outside their own team.
The candidate should be willing to take on challenging, high impact projects and lead programs from strategy to execution influencing stakeholders.
The candidate should have an adaptability for unexpected tasks, be able to build relationships quickly to reach the desired outcome and drive initiatives and programs forward, influencing stakeholders.
