To strengthen our Power Consulting division, we are looking for a Technical Consultant (f/m/d) for the area of distribution grids with relevant expertise in the field of power engineering.

Become part of a team of internationally recognized experts who develop, plan and optimize distribution, transmission or industrial grids for our customers, taking into account economic and technical constraints.

If, in addition to your in-depth knowledge of distribution grids, you have experience in carrying out studies and analyses and are familiar with relevant grid calculation programs such as NEPLAN and PowerFacorty, then we look forward to receiving your application.

Your tasks

  • Independent implementation in the area of distribution grids, including experience in carrying out studies and analyses in this area
  • Carrying out static grid calculations, such as load flow, short circuit and reliability calculations, or protection concept reviews
  • Customer consulting in the area of grid modernization, such as voltage band conversion, new substation construction or dissolution, integration of renewable energies and target grid planning
  • Advising customers on new domestic requirements in the area of distribution grids (substitution of gas for electricity, increase in the proportion of renewable energies and electromobility)
  • Generating customer contacts and working with customers at an operational level, actively driving forward and developing consulting products
  • Negotiating contracts, preparing offers and carrying out studies including cost estimation, resource planning and risk management as part of project management

Your background

  • Successfully completed studies, e.g. in the field of electrical engineering with a focus on energy technology
  • Several years of professional experience in the energy sector and its regulatory requirements, as well as a strong ability to work in a team and interest in working in an international environment
  • Experience in modeling and grid calculation with various grid calculation tools such as NEPLAN or PowerFactory
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for project meetings, reports, publications and participation in conferences
  • Strong teamwork skills and interest in working in an international environment
