Business Process & Continuous Improvement Specialist (f/m/d)

Description

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Business Process & Continuous Improvement Specialist to deploy and maintain a continuous improvement culture through applying Lean or 6 Sigma methodologies improving efficiency, sustain operations and exceed customer expectations .

As this position can be fulfilled completely remotely, we are prioritizing skills and experience over physical work location. 

Your responsibilities

• You will support the review of top Improvement Projects in close cooperation with the BU CIL and HUB CIL.

• You will master independently CI related business process improvement demands, whilst supporting to drive the deployment and implementation of the key strategic pillars of Continuous Improvement (Lighthouse, Ochibo Hiroi, Continuous Improvement  - active belts).

• You will act as a Role model for desired behavior regarding continuous improvement activities by encouraging key individuals to further develop their skills in L6S though trainings, coaching and facilitation support.

• You will drive standardization and consistency within the L6S project and make sure the knowledge is well transferred within the CI community.

• You will promote the sharing of best practices, new processes, tools and improvements achieved through application of CI methodologies.

• You are responsible for Regularly communicating CI project progress and improvements to stakeholders.

• You will be instrumental in further developing and deploying the INTELEX application, Hitachi Energy’s main internal audit application

• Your strong ability of self-organization and your project management acumen will help to manage key data analytics and reports provided by our analytics team.

• You will manage the L6S Institute activities, supported by a direct report to you.

Your background

• You hold at least a bachelor’s degree, preferable in Engineering/Science

• You are at least Green Belt certified (Lean Six Sigma).

• You bring 7+ years of experience in continuous improvement.

• You are skilled in data analytics paired with knowledge in PowerBi and swift learning on how to work with new tools like INTELEX.

• You have an agile mindset, can-do- attitude and excellent communication skills.

• You have already worked in international, complex and fast-paced organizations and developed therefore a problem-solving approach.

• You are fluent in English.
