Civil Engineer

Description

We are looking for Civil Engineer who has at least 5 years of professional experience as a Civil/Structural Engineer. You have good knowledge in construction technology, frame systems, concrete and steel construction. The position requires good computer skills and very good knowledge of English in speech and writing. You must have experience with 3D modelling in Revit/Tekla Structure and have experience in developing technical solutions. It is meritorious if you have experience with Creating and updating the models in BIM360.

Your responsibilities

• Primarily working on Revit and undertake drawing/modelling of Foundations, Earthing systems, Underground Ducting, etc and Develop Conceptual and Detailed design drawings
• Quantity Surveying, and extract material from 3D Models and 2D drawing to populate Bill of Materials
• Generate various Structural layouts, sections, elevations and details
• Works with Project Lead and project engineers to communicate, problem solve and update models for coordination and design issues
•  Create and update models in BIM360 and Construction cloud 
• Support other members in the Design team with documents and drawing production and uploading.

Your background

• MSc or BSc in Civil/Structural Engineering
• 5 years (or plus) of experience as Civil /Structural Engineer and 2-5 years experience with Revit and AutoCAD
• Knowledge within Tekla structures is seen as a great advantage
• Knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks, with experience of running clash detection will be an added advantage
• Excellent communication skills with team members, to be able to work in an international skilled Design team
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
