Production Planner

Description

Coordination in the following areas:

1. a.) Planning production in accordance with customer orders and production capacity. b.) Controlling shipments to the customer. c.) Maintaining inventory levels set by management.

2. Preparing semi-annual information for HK's Production Budget.

3.Monitor general market trends and customer developments.

4. Obtain and distribute information pertaining to new products, model changes, and samples to program team.

Minimum Requirements

• Possession of sound computer skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, System 21, and INFOR.
• Ability to communicate and represent Hitachi in a professional manner with customer via telephone, email, and in person.
• Able to travel to customer sites on occasion.
• Group leadership skills.

Preferred

• 2 yrs. experience in master scheduling or equivalent in education.
• Experience in international relations.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field.
