Business Intelligence Architect

Description

As a Business Intelligence Architect at HVDC, you will take a pivotal role in architecting, constructing, and sustaining our business intelligence framework. Collaborating closely with our BI team, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the accessibility, quality, and dependability of data for their analytics endeavors. This position offers an exhilarating chance to shape the bedrock of our BI ecosystem, aiding the organization in discovering actionable insights, and engage in spearheading innovation within the business intelligence domain.

Your responsibilities:

• Architect and design end-to-end business intelligence solutions, establishing best practices and standards for the organization's BI practice.
• Evaluate and select appropriate BI tools, technologies, and platforms to support the organization's business intelligence needs.
• Collaborate with the data team to build and enhance the BI infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and reporting/visualization tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design comprehensive business intelligence solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for all BI solutions and processes. Track status for all program deliverables, ensuring ownership and accountability for each.
• Provides internal consultative services in both the design and development activities. Mentors and trains less experienced staff.

Your background:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is advantageous.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or equal.
• Knowledge of dimensional data modeling concepts as well as data warehouse design.
• Experience working on a team to design and implement BI solutions.
• Expert experience with the Microsoft power platform suite.
