Summary
Hitachi America Ltd is seeking Senior Architect, ServiceNow Platform (ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, HAM, SAM) with experience implementing IT Service Management, Enterprise Service Management, Asset and Configuration Management and having Flow designer, UI Builder, ITSM configuration/customization, Executive Dashboard skillset.
The ServiceNow Architect will possess a deep understanding of technical aspects of software development; has strong organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with key stake holder, ServiceNow users, business analysts, and work with developers.
S/He will have hands-on experience in working with the process owners and business subject matter experts, managing enterprise data analytics solutions, process improvements, and building creative solutions. This role reports to the Director, IT applications and will be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team tasked with global digital and business transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide functional expertise; act as product advocate to lead implementation of ITIL processes within ServiceNow platform.
Assume full ownership of solution and manages small to mid-size project from planning for the project including resourcing, driving implementation including solution design, development, testing and handing over to the support teams.
Assists in development of project estimates, contributes to defining project timelines, project plans and milestones.
Instructs, assigns, reviews the work of other team members, including the review of high-level designs, detail designs, code, and test plans and results.
Lead the solution, design, development, testing, and deployment of ServiceNow modules in compliance with required system processes and procedures, working with other team members and partners across the organization as needed.
Define the solutions and realizes architecture blueprint into solution components with a focus on business benefit/value.
Define architect strategy and patterns commonly used within ServiceNow.
Work with the process owners to understand detailed requirements and be responsible for design, implementation, test and delivery of high-quality product to our users.
Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite.
Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing.
Collaborate day-to-day with an energetic team of like-minded developers, product managers and quality engineers using agile software development methodology.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Investigate and resolve technical issues, providing expert guidance to team members to ensure smooth project delivery, issue resolution.
Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to frame, structure, and prioritize business data needs.
Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the team.
Code review and Mentors and coaches other team members, facilitates individual team member development of technical, functional, and industry skills.
Deliver projects consistently, on schedule, and on budget.
Proactively manage issues and risks and have a well-defined plan towards resolution/mitigation.
Ensure delivered solutions meet/perform to technical and functional requirements.
Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and background:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science or mathematics with 11+ years related experience.
7+ years of experience in ServiceNow with minimum 5 years’ experience as an architect on ServiceNow platform.
Strong Technical Expertise with ServiceNow modules, ITSM, HRSD, ITOM to architect solutions that address complex challenges and knowledge of CMDB desirable.
Experience in ServiceNow Catalog Service with Flow designer, UI Builder, ITSM configuration/customization skillset.
Experience in Software architecture & design experience.
Experience with creating workflows in ServiceNow (duplicate)
Working knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, HTML preferred
Working knowledge of databases, tables, attributes, and relationships
Good interpersonal skills to optimally communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong management ability to manage stakeholders, and work with cross functional teams including infrastructure, network, information security, enterprise applications, and business users.
Demonstrated management skills with a proven ability to connect strategy to execution.
Experience working in a fast growth / changing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including senior executive engagement and high level of personal integrity.

For California only (as required by California’s Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act (SB 1162): The expected salary for this position in our California office is $180,000 – 200,000. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi America’s variable pay program, subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
