Site IT Specialist (m/f/d)

In this position you will integrate the local IT support team and take over user support tasks. Also, you will be the point of contact for items requesting deeper IT expertise at the location. You will be reporting to the European Head of IT Operations.

Key Accountabilities and Activities

• Support IT activities of the headquarter incl. engineering and testing IT systems.
• Ensure preventive, curative and maintenance actions. Provide first, second and third level support to the users.
• Advise and train users in the good use of their computer
• Carry out daily and common IT operations and carry out technical deployment actions at the site.
• Ensure receipt and recording of user requests until treatment: repairs and assistance
• Be in charge to secure data integrity, reliability and availability at the location
• Manage local IT assets and coordinate if needed centrally driven asset projects.
• Ensure 1st level of preventive and curative operations on every hardware in the server room: network, servers
• Ensure follow-up of micro material and software stock; inventory, management of updates, management of maintenance equipment stock
• Comply with operating corporate procedures, project and governance
• Ensure installation, deployment and effective operating of computing equipment (material and software in compliance with current company procedures
• Install user equipment and updates (micro material, programs)

Your profile

Key Competencies

• Fluent in German is mandatory
• Business English is required
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative and open-minded to develop, drive and implement new projects and concepts

Qualification and Experience

• Degree or qualification in Information Technology or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in IT, with IT infrastructure and IT systems maintenance
