GlobalLogic is looking for technology game changers to lead one of our OEM customers' into a fundamental transformation within the automotive industry.

Our customer organization was established to combine the exciting experiences in the recent future of automotive technology. As part of this foundation, we are looking for passionate engineers to design and advance the architecture of modern software functions for software-defined vehicles (SDV). These software functions will cover all important aspects such as autonomous driving, body/chassis, powertrain and infotainment. Once the features are designed, you follow the developments and actively drive innovation related to these features.

Requirements:

University degree preferably in computer science, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or comparable degrees

6-9 years in-depth working experience in software architecture in C, C++, and Python

6-9 years in-depth working experience with OS such as QNX and/or Linux or similar

Profound knowledge with device drivers for various buses such as UART, SPI, USB, PCIe, etc.

Profound knowledge with Yocto Linux, Hypervisors, Dockers, QEMU, etc.

Profound knowledge of cyber security, secure booting, etc.

Profound knowledge with AUTOSAR concepts, architecture, specifications and configuration tools (ADAPTIVE AUTOSAR BSW)

Analytical and interdisciplinary thinking

Solution-oriented, self-motivated and result-oriented

Independent, well-structured and organized way of working

Good communication skills and fluent English

Good teamwork skills in an international environment

Experience with technical responsibility/technical management, e.g., for software component functions

Job Responsibilities:

As Lead Software Architecture Engineer, you are responsible for one or more features and have technical responsibility for the corresponding development.

Ensuring and maintaining the highest quality and developing according to safety and quality standards are a fundamental part of your daily work.
