In Grid Integration Service Solutions, we are currently looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join our team of R&D specialists. Are you interested in developing control concepts and software for new charging solutions in the field of e-Mobility, such as eBus flash-charging? Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, communications, or similar
• Hands-on experience on object-oriented programming using Python (including web frameworks such as Quart or Flask)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to implement complex control flows and algorithms
• The capability to analyze software design on a system level and translate it to code
• Experience in using and working with Linux OS, Docker containers, Docker compose, and Kubernetes
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps
• In-depth understanding of Asynchronous Programming
• Hands-on experience of API deployments, integration, and maintenance
• Hands-on experience with coding standards and approach in adapting domain specific nomenclatures.
• Hands-on experience in Unit testing with PyTest.
• Experience using MQTT protocol for external communications
• Researching capabilities to modernize application
• Experience with DevOps (is an advantage)
• Knowledge and experience of eMobility standards such as OCPP (is an advantage)
• High level knowledge of DC networks, low voltage networks, power electronics converter (is an advantage)
• Ability to work independently with a sense of ownership and responsibility
• Fluency in written and spoken as well as technical writing English
• Communication and interpersonal skills and intercultural sensitivity
• (Nice to have) Knowledge of data analytics.
• Need to be ready for a business trip

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop fully functional microservice applications
• Program scaled object-oriented software using languages such as Python (3.8.9 or higher)
• Approach the development lifecycle with testing in mind namely unit, integration, regression, and more
• Program with libraries such as Openapi, Websockets, Pymongo, AsyncIO, QuartCore, Connexion, Flask, Werkzeug, Data Polishing, and Encryption library
• Conduct and / or participate in unit / bench / API / functional / non-functional testing of software products / features
• Support or participate in preparing technical design documents in response to market / product / technical / functional / non-functional requirements specifications
• Develop / build proof of concepts as a step towards comprehensive software development
• Develop software and / or review software development according to security development lifecycle and technical design documents
• Analyze the developed code, prepare bug reports, conduct root cause analysis, suggest fixes, implement and / or ensure implementation of the identified solution, subsequent verification and validation steps
