Description:
• Hands-on experience in security, error handling, logging, and traffic management
• Hands-on experience in creating custom policies using Java callout.
• Proven experience in API development and management using Apigee Edge or a similar platform.

Requirements:
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed remotely and the salary range will be $125,000/yr to $135,000/yr and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.

Preferences:
• Strong backend Java programming, AWS
• Hands-on experience with API proxy development using Apigee-provided policies as well as custom policy development
• Microservices implementation, Strong Database knowledge
• Experience deploying Spring boot applications

Job Responsibilities:
• Experience in API development and management using Apigee.
• Strong experience with RESTful API design principles.
• Understanding of security protocols and best practices for API security.
• Experience with API testing and debugging tools.
