Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Site Facility Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Panama.

Mission:
The Site FM is responsible for the meticulous attention to detail, not
only in the building maintenance process, but also in the record
keeping of actions to competently manage the property portfolio within
agreed legal and operational guidelines and an understanding of HSE
principles and standards.
Accountabilities
To ensure the planning of work and resources regarding the
buildings and office premises including cleaning, catering, security,
space, environment and utilities management.
• To ensure the management of all contractual maintenance.
• A good understanding of building operating systems, the ability to
identify and troubleshoot maintenance issues using trade
techniques.
• The ability to prepare relevant contract documents for managing
and monitoring performance.
• Ensure the management of projects - either new installations and/or
refurbishment.
• Be able to prepare detailed calculations of costs and investment
planning required for company goods and services at the lowest
rates permitted and the best quality.
• Ensure the ongoing function of each facility task in the Major Entity
such as reception, print centre, classroom training, car rental &
vehicle leases, security, building maintenance, catering, mailing
records, waste management & recycling records, contractor
management, travel, archiving, administration assistance etc.
Skills & Knowledge
High School Degree (first experience on the field)
0 up to 5 years of Business experience
Project management & Planning 1
HSE/FM Applicable Standards and Certification knowledge
(ISO…)
Cost estimating techniques knowledge and budgeting knowledge.
