Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Senior Technological Site Supervisor (who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Panama.

Mission

Ensure compliance with the timely and quality execution of the Project deliverables (linked to the specific scope of the technology) under the HSE conditions stipulated by current legislation and HITACHI standards. Manage suppliers linked to the specific scope, identifying risks and opportunities early.

Accountabilities

  • Ensure the issuance, on time, of the specific documentation related to the scope of the technologies (Construction): Responsibility Matrix, Work Plan, Interface Matrix, Specific Procedures, Specific Protocols, Risk Analysis, HandOver and others related. Deliverables must comply with the requirements of the category and project.

  • Ensure detailed monitoring of scope predecessors, in order to early report deviations or potential deviations from meeting objectives. Includes action plan (corrective, paleative, future preventive).

  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and conditions associated with specific deliverables, in order to early report deviations or potential deviations from compliance with HSE requirements. Includes action plan (corrective, paleative, future preventive).

  • Ensure detailed monitoring of compliance with technical specifications associated with specific deliverables, in order to early report deviations or potential deviations from compliance with technical requirements. Includes action plan (corrective, paleative, future preventive).

  • Generation of Value through the evaluation of Constructability and Lessons Learned. Use of good engineering practices and use of Expert Judgment.

  • Ensure the follow-up of the Performance / Suitability of the Contractors for the fulfillment of their orders: Scope Compliance (lump sum, indirect, histogram, etc), Cost (additional, opportunities, etc), Program (start, follow-up and end milestones) and Quality (Certification VS Physical Advance)."
