HR Operations – Internship

Hitachi Energy Human Resources Operations is seeking for a student that will be managing day-to-day HR activities, such as assisting employee life cycle, facilitating recruitment needs and other HR related support programs. Your key role will be in participating for the delivery of high-quality services, supporting local business locations, and key stakeholders. You will perform a variety of complex human resource duties following general direction. You would report to the HR Operations Team Lead based in Canada.

• Duration: 6 months

• Start date: March 4th, 2024.

• Mode of work: Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Posting job requisitions externally, internally & various job boards.

• Review and filter applications from potential candidates.

• Schedule interviews.

• Perform background checks.

• Manage employee record documents.

• Collaborate with HR team members for the effective talent acquisition process.

• Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status.

• Regular update the employee life cycle records.

• Provide HR administrative assistance as requested.

• Actively collaborate with other internal team members.

• Provide Tier 1 level support via MyHR (ServiceNow).

• Follow up on tickets as needed to ensure SLAs are met.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Human Resources or another related field.

• Familiarity with HR processes and programs

• Good organizational skills

• Skills to multitask efficiently and the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.

• Great attention-to-detail

• Complete understanding to regularly update the human resource databases.

• Ability to securely handle employee records.

• Bilingual English & French
