Electrical Engineer Intern

General Information:

The Hitachi Energy location in Jefferson City, MO is a premier designer and manufacturer of distribution transformers for the electrical grid, commercial data centers, industrial facilities, wind & solar alternative energy sources.

Responsibilities:

• Job assignments are primarily designed to give students the opportunity to work on projects.
• Design Projects that will impact & reduce cost savings, scrap, rework and first past yield performance.
• Participating and supporting improvement projects.
• Support the Continuous Improvement teams utilizing tools from the 4Q Quality process.
• Work with Design Team using CAD tools such as ACAD & Creo Parametric.
• Work on updating Design Procedures.   
• Support Senior Engineers for providing technical support.
• Other projects as assigned.

Your Background:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program.
• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited university program in the US.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States.
