Description
The purpose of this role is to lead and guide the Signaling & Asset Protection System (APS) and Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) maintenance division into achieving the contractual maintenance goals, while he/she will also be an active member of the workforce responsible for routine, preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, testing and reporting. The technological subsystems under the division include:Interlocking, RBC, Axle Counter, Point Machines, APS (e.g. e.g. Hot Axle Bearing Detector (HABD)/Hot Wheel Detector (HWD)/Rail Head Temperature (RHT) , Radio Frequency Identifier (RFID), Dragging Equipmet Detector (DED),Weight In Motion (WIM) /Weight Impact Load Detector (WILD) etc), SCADA.
