Hitachi Energy is looking for Global Service Operations Manager for our Grid Integration Business Unit.

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the service business operations, including but not limited to the service technical staff, project management and/or tender staff with the objective of improving performance and securing legal compliance in the most cost-effective manner.

Key areas of responsibility:

  •  Execution of operational activities based on policies, customer requirements, budgets and timescales, ensuring that agreed standards are met.
  •  Ensuring the timely execution of projects with respect to the given schedules whilst adhering to the set quality standards and KPI’s during all execution phases
  •  Making important policy, planning and strategic decisions to ensure the effective implementation of a defined work process as well as operational development activities.
  •  Preparing action plans for the entire process lifecycle to optimize output with respect to finance and staffing needs, providing information and recommendations to strategy implementation.
  •  Performing quality control and monitoring of KPIs through effective team coordination

Your background:

  • Ideally 8-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, highly impact and influence.
  • International experience in complex organizations is a plus.
  • Operational and service background.
  • Experience in the energy sector is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
