Hitachi Energy is looking for Continuous Improvement Leader (m/f/d) for its Power Transformers factory in Bad Honnef. In this role you will closely collaborate with all teams in our value chain to strengthen our continuous improvement (CI) culture. With your passion for Lean principles and by utilizing Lean Six Sigma (L6S) methodology you will support the organization to identify improvement opportunities and drive initiatives to develop efficient solutions. Your responsibilities

  • Understand the organization’s processes, structures, and improvement needs
  • Suggest, drive and implement projects and, improvement actions
  • Create strong relationships with key stakeholders to achieve buy-in
  • Support the organization to identify and apply the most efficient tools and methods for their needs
  • Create transparency in the organization's processes and ensure activities are aligned and prioritized to achieve optimal results
  • Provide organization-wide visibility of continuous improvement efforts and achievements in order to help decision makers allocate resources and recognize success
  • Facilitate change processes and best practice sharing within your location
  • Provide training, coaching and facilitation support to individuals and teams so that they are better equipped to drive their improvement efforts for themselves

Your background

  • Proven full-time experience in LEAN & continuous improvements in a manufacturing environment, preferably of customized, small series products
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Strong communicator and team player with different stakeholders in the organization
  • Structured way of working
  • Hands-on approach to drive projects throughout their implementation
  • Excellent language skills in German and English
