You will be the expert in delivering competitive bids/estimates/quotations to customers for our cutting-edge Hitachi Energy Grid Edge Solutions (including microgrids and energy storage) in Europe (e.g. Italy, Spain, Germany, UK, etc). Your attention to detail and ability to analyze and negotiate with our internal teams and with our partners will be vital to this key component of project planning.

Formulating bids that fully address customer needs and offering the most efficient and cost-effective solutions, in line with Hitachi Energy policy and across the Hitachi Energy Grid Edge Solutions portfolio
Ensuring the timely and accurate formulation of tender documents through coordination with relevant stakeholders
Managing all aspects of the bid — including technical, financial, product management and risk reviews, in line with Hitachi Energy standards
Coordinating with Supply Chain to identify potential suppliers for equipment and materials, through regular analysis of customer needs and market trends
Technical support to sales and sales specialist during technical evaluation meetings with customers Identifying and mitigating potential risks in bids, quotations, estimations and any other related contract agreement across customers/channels
Leading the Risk Review process in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy
Contributing to an effective, positive customer relationship throughout the Sales process
Analyzing and reporting on tender outcomes and identifying areas for improvement to increase success

An engineering degree in a related field (preferably electrical)
More than 3 years of relevant experience in Estimations and Tendering, working in similar position with companies offering Systems and Projects
Sound knowledge and experience in system and solution for the renewables and energy storage markets
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Fluency in German and English is mandatory; additional languages (like Italian, French, Spanish) are an advantage
Current work permit to work inside the European Union
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills
