Hitachi Energy is seeking a seasoned Regional Account Manager with a focus on Data Center Accounts.
The ideal candidate will be apt in building strong relationships with key customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions and innovations and achieve mutual satisfaction. You will be responsible for coordinating all sales efforts with country teams across APAC (including sales functions) for assigned accounts and manage resolution of specific customer issues. The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.
You will maintain long-term, strategic relationships with selected accounts, serve as single point of contact to customer, leading technical and commercial negotiations and build account plans and sales strategies.
You will acquire a thorough understanding of customer’s stakeholders, strategies, processes, anticipating and understanding customer needs and projecting solutions. This role will require the ability to anticipate based on the customer’s long-term strategy what solutions and concepts could be available to them.
You will involve in early identification and qualification of sales leads with cross-business sales teams, incl identification of leads with supply of innovative solutions, which are new to the marketplace.
You will drive capture teams, must wins, relevant pipeline management and implement local & global sales processes and tools and support bottoms-up Market Insights and Market Outlook (MIMO) process and lead forecasting and long-term demand estimate.
You will lead account reviews, expand data center service business and this position will require travelling, across APAC based on customer’s need.

Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field.
5 years of professional experience working with Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Product Management and/or Engineering.
Ability to build, grow and maintain positive relationships and to build networks.
Must have a technical mindset to build customer confidence in solutions to open doors and command respect when proposing solutions and support closing the deal.
Excellent communicator (verbal and written), ability to lead this defined strategy internally with multiple product lines in support of proposal responses and contract negotiations.
A profound sense of quality and a keen interest in complexities, a sense of urgency, and persistence in achieving goals.
Demonstrate strong teamwork skills, leadership, and strong priority.
Knowledge of data center market and experienced with Data Center Customers is a must.
Experience in value-based and strategic selling to take the lead in high level sales engagements is an asset.
Ability to travel internationally.
Good command of English communication.
