Senior QA Engineer

Description

We aim to build a new Power Grid Advance Distribution Management System (PG ADMS) from the ground up, being a modern alternative to the existing systems internally and among our competitors. Also, as part of this challenge, we want to base our new solution on the latest, modern, and future-proof technologies and techniques. The system we are building will be mission-critical software ensuring that power grid operators can efficiently and effectively do their job, so each one of us will have a light in our homes.

Your role would be to ensure that the code designed and delivered by the developers from your Scrum team is up to the company standards from both functional and non-functional aspects. You will guide and mentor other QAs within the group to grow their competencies. Participate in technical discussions improving not only the code itself but also the architecture of it and the whole solutions.

Reporting to Łukasz Gawor, you will work in a collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Test automation
• Framework creation/development
• Integration of existing solutions
• Architecture proposal and implementation of new solutions
• Ensuring best-in-class performance and responsiveness of the product
• Becoming a valuable part of a team working in Agile SDLC methodology

Your background:

Required:

• Proficient in any programming language, preferably Python or C#
• 3+ years experience in test automation, API, and UI testing
• 6+ years of experience in testing (hard requirement)
• Acquaintance with QA methodologies and tools, test design, and test documentation
• High ability to understand technical architecture and deep dive into complex problems
• Self-drive
• Knowledge about SQL and DB
• TS/JS understanding
• Constantly learning

Nice to have:

• Linux/bash proficient
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools - RobotFramework, Playwright
• Experienced with performance testing
• ISTQB Foundation certificate
• Understanding about penetration testing
