Description

We are looking for a QA/Test Engineer that will help pave the way for our digital analytics platform.

Our R&D engineers and scientists develop breakthrough technologies that change the way the world works, and industries do business. We constantly push the limits of convention, while retaining our focus on delivering quality products and solutions to our customers.

You will be working in an agile team setup in a Global Environment, with colleagues in Poland that is cooperating with teams in Sweden and India. You will report to the local department but also to the Global R&D functions for digital solutions in HVDC.

The team is working in an agile way where all team members are expected to contribute with their knowledge and experiences to achieve the common goals for the development of the products. This means that the team is doing breakdown of activities together, collaborate within the team as well as seeking collaboration with other relevant teams in (and sometimes outside) the HVDC organization.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain testing strategies for the Quality Assurance of our Digital Offerings.
  • Testing advanced analytics functions with emphasis on math and modelling.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage by working closely with the software developers.
  • Execute test cases, manage defects, and communicate testing status.
  • Focus on quality, continuous improvement of tests, and test efficiency.
  • Analyze the root cause for testing failures and open appropriate defects with sufficient findings.

  • Working in a cross-disciplinary team using the Agile development methodology.
  • Sharing your knowledge and experience with other team members.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or an equal field of study, with 3+ years of experience.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience in Python automation testing.
  • Experience in integration testing, functional testing, system testing, acceptance testing and regression testing.
  • Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.
  • Team Player.
  • Cybersecurity Aware.
