In this position you will report to the Global CSS function and work in close cooperation with Country Finance Managers of Benelux and France and with finance team located in Rotterdam, Zaventem (Brussels), Jumet (Charleroi) and Massy (Paris). You will be a key member of the core Finance Team of Hitachi Energy Benelux and France and work closely with CSS centers located mainly in Poland, but also outside of Europe. As a manager you will lead a small but dynamic and enthusiastic team located in Rotterdam and Massy. You can be based in either one of the four locations, while frequently travelling to the others.

             

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensures that all Group and fiduciary finance requirements in all countries are duly met and complied with, overseeing compliance with IFRS, local statutory GAAP, Group and local reporting, internal controls, legal and tax requirements, with support of CSS.
  • Ensures transparency in financial reporting and enhances and manages internal control environment.
  • Represents Hitachi Energy locally and actively manages partnerships and external stakeholders within the sphere of Finance.
  • Maintains relations with external auditors and communicates their local findings to the organization for remediation.
  • You will Co-ordinate preparation and enforces the CSS Finance front office budget.
  • Leads, guides, motivates, develops, and sets targets for the CSS Finance front office staff.
  • Drives implementation of best practices and continuous optimization of local processes in line with Lean Management principles to gain efficiencies and drive productivity gains.
  • Manages relationships with business partners to ensure that services are defined and delivered as agreed.
  • Arranges and drives internal customer review meetings on a regular basis and tracks mutually agreed action plan.
  • Ensures statutory audits and other internal/external audits are handled with high standards and in a professional manner.
  • Encourages collaboration and talent moves amongst local finance organization, across businesses and CSS.

Your background:

  • You hold Higher diploma in Finance and Accounting.
  • You have more than 5 years of experience in various fields of Finance (accounting, reporting, IFRS, Dutch, French and Belgian GAAP, taxes).
  • You have more than 2 years of experience as a manager leading a team.
  • Preferable working experience in an international corporation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, stakeholder management, able to deal with complexity, analytical skills, ambitious and self-motivated.
  • Being Proficient in both English, French and Dutch.
