Procurement Specialist

Description

Mission statement:

Executes material purchase requests, according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures under supervision.

Your responsibilities:

• You will recommend / support in Identifying new suppliers and coordinates with relevant category team. Follows the process to qualify new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists.

• You will support in negotiating agreements with main suppliers, periodically renews pricelists, terms and conditions and feedback recommendations for appropriate actions.

• You will adapt corporate contractual framework to the local business needs and recommend frame agreements to management, ensure approved contractual terms in execution, analyze and evaluate bids within the scope, in order to determine the optimal value. You will Support bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information within the area of responsibility.

• You will track goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing as per available guidelines, oversee supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time), and recommend solutions / resolve performance issues within the scope.

• You will initiate supply orders in the system, confirm delivery with suppliers, monitor and track supplier performance to purchase order requirements, align supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price.

• You will conduct all Supply Chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures, ensure Pro-Supply global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in Pro-Supply procedure within the scope of activities.

Your background:

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in any fields.

• Basic Knowledge of SAP, Ariba, and Microsoft Package.

• Good in computer, presentation Skills, analytical & creative mind, attention to Details.

• Good understanding in business skills like decision-making and problem-solving, time management and organization skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
