Hitachi Energy Ltd, High Voltage Products, is renowned worldwide as a specialist for power transmission and distribution. The Service unit is responsible for the worldwide after sales support of generator circuit-breaker (GCB) systems and gas insulated switchgears (GIS) for both Transmission (220kV-550kV) and Sub-transmission (60kV-170kV) level, including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, value-added services, troubleshooting, extensions, retrofits and replacements.

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for handling assigned customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and competent manner for a defined geographic region and generator circuit breaker (GCB) product portfolio

  • Create quotations independently and in cooperation with customer and internal departments (engineering, supply chain, procurement, legal, new business, local service centers, etc.)

  • Follow up on quotations and convert these into orders

  • Provide professionally support to internal and external customers, obtain and prepare customer requirements, train sales partners

  • Maintain market, installed base, customer, offer, and order information in reports and sales database

  • Actively cooperate and/or lead internal continuous improvement projects and tools

  • Responsible for standardization of offers and prices

Your background

  • Technical and/or business education (apprenticeship, FH/TH, diploma)

  • Commercial and business management knowledge is beneficial

  • Generator circuit breaker (GCB) knowledge is highly desirable

  • SAP and MS Office experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Fluency in English and German, additional languages are a big plus
