We are looking for a Senior Technical Writer who recognizes the importance of both individual and group effort to deliver high quality products that meet customer needs.

Reporting to Piotr Sroka, you will work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities 

  • Create and update product documentation and descriptions without oversight 

  • Cooperate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Developers, and other Technical Writers Speak with development teams to clarify feature details and specifications 

  • Take the lead of documentation projects 

  • Share your knowledge with other team members 

  • Test beta features and learn how our software works to become a subject matter expert 

Background 

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in technical writing, English, communications, or a related area of study Fluent English (both written and spoken) 

  • At least 6 years in a similar role with some experience of writing for technical audiences  

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills to prepare easy-to-read text in plain English 

  • Practical knowledge of using international style guides for writing in English (Microsoft Manual of Style or the AP Stylebook) or STE 

  • Experience working with a docs-as-code workflow and ability to prepare simple code samples  

  • Experience with technical writing tools (MadCap Flare), content management systems, source control systems (Git), Jira, and Confluence
