Description

We use cutting-edge DevOps technologies in practice, not only on paper. In daily work you will be able to get hands on experience on containerization, Kubernetes (k8s) and system designed in full fledge microservice architecture. We deploy our solution on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

Concepts like scalability, reliability, and availability are the critical base, so it is required to have basic knowledge about how they can be achieved in the microservice world.

Our tech stack and tools include: .NET Core, .NET 7.0, React JS, TypeScript, REST API, ORMs (Entity Framework Core), PostgreSQL, Git, Azure, GCP, Linux, Bash, Python, Kafka, Helm, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, ELK, and Prometheus.

The team works according to their preferences - hybrid, or 100% from the office.

In this role, you will be reporting to Joanna Rewera.

Your responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for containerized (micro-services) solution to achieve reliable and stable releases
  • Maintain and configure tools within projects tech stack (Helm, Terraform, Terragrunt, Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenSearch, Kafka , PostgreSQL, and other ones)
  • Troubleshoot issues for various Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform cloud-based components and improve tool chain as well as associated processes towards more automation and shorter turnaround times
  • Working in a cross-disciplinary team using the Agile development methodology
  • Sharing your knowledge and experience with other team members

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or an equal field of study
  • Practical knowledge of software configuration management (Azure DevOps, GIT, Powershell, NuGet, code review tools, static analysis tools, installer/packagers, provisioning tools, virtualization/cloud based build and testing systems)
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform or another cloud provider
  • Good knowledge of Linux and Windows based systems and technologies as well as system administration
  • Scripting/programming skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python) will be a plus
  • Good written and spoken communication in English
