Mission statement:


Adapt and implement sales support strategy for designated area in accordance with the global support strategy. Ensure technical and commercial support for internal and external customers. Oversee estimations and bids & proposals ensuring alignment with Hitachi Energy standards and targets. Proactively lead, develop and coach the local tendering team.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will implement local sales support strategy, ensure that key targets are achieved for the customer support.

  • The preparation of techno-commercial proposals will through internal and external resources, ensure all proposals follow relevant Hitachi Energy procedures and guidelines as well as legal requirements. You will ensure most competitive offers considering the market situation and customer’s priorities (technical/commercial) and conditions, identify optimal approach (e.g. direct sales, consortium, or channel) to be applied to better serve the customer.

  • You will ensure all proposals terms and conditions (commercial, technical, legal, pricing) are in accordance and compliance to company’s policy in each offer, adequately plans and forecasts workload to meet business needs, collaborate and allocate internal and external resources for technical and commercial support and proposal preparation.

  • You will support bid/no bid analyses and decisions. Participates and manages the deal risk review processes and ensure support to the Sales organizations during the technical meetings, product presentations, and in negotiations with customers to provides technical support and clarification as needed.

  • You will lead, drive and hold itself accountable for the highest standards of health, safety and environment to ensure Zero Harm is achieved, responsible for compliance with relevant HSE policy and procedures, ensuring proactive risk assessments take place and corrective actions monitored/followed up.

Your background:

  • University degree in Engineering/Trade qualifications – Electrical or equivalent.

  • More than 5 years’ experience in Electrical Manufacturing or Power Industry in similar role.

  • Experience across Electrical Industry within Utilities, Power T&D or Power Systems projects, especially in Substation Automation & Communication is an advantage.

  • Advanced computer skills across MS Office, MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint.

  • Able to work with multiple stakeholders, functions and positions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to details.
