  • Maintain human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, and changes in job classifications.
  • Create and maintain employee personnel files and other department records.
  • Process payroll forms for exempt and non-exempt personnel. Collect point adjustments forms, PTO borrow forms, Retro Pay forms, etc.
  • Provide written and oral employment verifications for employees as requested.
  • Coordinate Tuition Reimbursement Program to ensure consistent application of this benefit in furthering employee’s development in meeting company skill needs.
  • Maintain Employee Referral Forms and process Employee Referral Rewards.
  • Initiate vendor set up process.
  • Provide administrative support for New Hire Orientation
  • Provide administrative support in recruiting.
  • Attend to employees about HR related inquiries
  • Responsible for updating HR/Recruiting bulletin boards
  • Provide support to the Human Resources Manager on a wide variety of Human Resources projects and initiatives.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior job-related experience with at least one year experience in Human Resources and Payroll processing required.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work with all levels of staff and maintain strict confidentiality of information.
  • PC proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to learn software applications related to the position required.  Access preferred.
  • Experience with HRMS and payroll processing systems.




Required to sit for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.


Usual office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet. The performance of this position may occasional require exposure to the manufacturing areas where certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment and steel toe shoes.
