Engineering Manager

We are seeking a dynamic personality to head our engineering team at our Guntramsdorf location. In this role, you will be involved in planning and building power supply systems as well as establishing the necessary line connections at utility and industrial companies. Your responsibilities

Providing disciplinary leadership to our engineering team (currently about 10 employees) as well as creating deployment plans in close coordination with project management

Participating regularly in global TEAMS as well as physical face-to-face meetings (willingness to travel) with international participants (English is therefore essential)

Attending project meetings as well as responsibility for supervisory control activities regarding technical implementations, adherence to deadlines, etc.

Cost center management, monthly reporting to management

Budgeting for staff and investments

Managing tools (e.g., measuring and testing devices) as well as software tools (e.g., CAD software, PLC), managing standards in compliance with applicable safety standards and ISO processes

Inspecting sites in coordination with project management and HSE/Quality Management, including related reporting

Internal und external ISO audits

Inspections conducted at different construction sites all throughout Austria

Your background

Completed electrical engineering training (ideally HTL, i.e., technical college, or university of applied sciences (FH), general university)

Experience in team leadership, assertiveness

Technical understanding and manual skills

Planning/Design experience in plant construction an advantage

Basic MS Office skills, SAP skills desirable

More about us

You can expect a challenging and varied role in a young, dynamic team in an international group. This position offers a minimum base salary according to the CBA (employees in the electrical and electronics industry) starting at EUR 4.301,27 gross per month, depending on your qualifications and experience.
