We are looking to onboard a Buyer for our team in Madrid for our Procurement and Logistics team within the Grids Integration, Madrid, Spain.

The position is to cover a maternity leave, duration of the contract 1 year.

Your responsabilities :

  • You will be involved in purchasing materials on behalf of the Business according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms.

  • You will be initiating purchase orders according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures.

  • You will negotiate agreements with main suppliers and periodically renewing price lists, terms and conditions and support the bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information.

  • You will adapt corporate contractual framework to the local business needs.

  • You will identify and qualify new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists and align supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price.

  • You will analyze and evaluate buds in order to determine the optimal value, support as well the bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information

Your Background:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineer is an advantage.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement or logistics, working as buyer with electrical and construction business.

  • Demonstrated experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP Ariba, and SAP ERP.

  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.

  • English and Spanish at fluent level, knowledge of the French language is a plus
