POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Territory Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by establishing and maintaining relationships with companies in key sectors and institutions we serve in the assigned territory. Your primary objective will be to promote Telesis Dot Peen products and expand market share.

This position requires 75% travel to Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and prioritize potential customers within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with companies and institutions through regular visits and effective communication.
  • Educate engineers, operation, and manufacturing personnel about Telesis products, emphasizing their benefits and unique selling points.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and training to customers to ensure optimal product usage and satisfaction.
  • Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and sales meetings to stay updated on market trends and competition.
  • Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and customer service, to align strategies and initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in industrial sales or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Passion for sales and relationship building.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with engineering, manufacturing and operational professionals and key decision-makers.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Self-motivated and target oriented.
  • Experience in the coding and marking industry is a plus.
