Description

At JR Automation, the Aftermarket Inside Sales Representative tracks custom automation trends in multiple market verticals and converts that research into actionable prospecting and new opportunities.

What You'll Do:

  • Understand JR Lifecycle Management Ideal Customer Criteria to inform marketing and selling strategies.
  • Understand JR Lifecycle Management business unit experience, capabilities, and customer diversification strategies.
  • Identify and match JR’s Lifecycle Management capabilities and capacity to the post-installation service and support needs of JR customers.
  • Leverage market and customer intelligence data for initial customer outreach.
  • Leverage existing database of JR customers and pursue opportunities within those customers accounts for new automation, modernization projects and post-installation service and support.
  • Generate new sales opportunities through timely qualification of new customer leads generated through marketing and sales activities.
  • Prepare proposals for field service and remote support.  Manage proposals through the process to receipt of PO and project kickoff. 
  • Leverage relationships with existing customers and supplier partners to increase quantity and quality of leads for Lifecycle Management service and support opportunities.
  • Achieve sales lead objectives set by Sales Leadership.
  • Collect relevant customer information and requirements to efficiently manage the opportunity through it’s lifecycle. 
  • Collect relevant customer information to present the new automation or modernization project opportunity to the field sales team.
  • Participate in small to medium research and reporting projects from time to time.

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum 1 plus years’ experience working in a sales or research capacity within a manufacturing, industrial service, or custom automation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and financial principles
  • Ability to develop effective negotiation skills, representing the company's long-term business requirements
  • Passion for manufacturing and automation coupled with a demonstrated technical aptitude
  • Self-motivation to help the company achieve aggressive sales lead goals
  • Talent for developing relationships
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Emotional intelligence
